Hello ladies, and welcome to my new writing adventure. It is my hope that you find this a safe space to read, dream, think, and envision a fabulous, beautiful fulfilling life for yourself. It is also my intention to offer ideas, advice, and insights on how to to take steps to actually manifest the life you want to live. As the title suggests, this blog will be a little bit art, and a little bit semantics. Since I was young, I’ve always been a bit of an “Artistic Professor” - an artist with an analytical mind. Now I realize that both are really just two different languages the universe uses to communicate the genius of the Cosmos, and in blending seemingly opposite approaches, it secretly whispers the sweet spot for understanding how to live a magical life.
I’ve come to realize this. Life becomes magical when you decide to be yourself. When you decide to trust yourself, and when you decide that you and you alone are the authority over your life. Life becomes magical when you follow your heart, the stirrings of your soul, and you decide to finally listen to your intuition. (The voice in your gut, not the voice in your head.) Life becomes magical when you step closer to the woman who has been waiting patiently for you to choose her over the demands, opinions and needs of everyone else. Most women don’t even know where to start. They feel unhappy, but they don’t really know what to do about it. Maybe this sounds familiar. Heavens knows, I’ve been there. And I’m always working at becoming a better version of myself. Stretching my mindset, trying new things, failing more times than not. But along that meandering road, I can at least say I’ve learned more about myself, and I’ve learned to think differently about life. So, maybe this blog will inspire you to think differently about your life and the purpose behind it. Maybe you will be impassioned to embark on a great adventure too, and maybe you will be pleasantly surprised by what (or who) is waiting for you as you travel along your journey of self-discovery.
One of the secrets of the universe is that it is constantly expanding. All creation is programmed to stretch, evolve, change. I’m sorry (not sorry) to say, there is never a place of “arrival” and there is never truly an end point. But, really, no part of creation is exempt from this ultimate truth. While we can’t help the fact that we are inevitably spiraling towards the next version of ourselves, it’s more comforting to think that we are invited to elegantly become the best version of ourselves possible. This is the point of life, and the promise we hold within. It is up to us to make good on that promise, so let’s stop wasting time, and get on with it, shall we?
